My Five Favorite Southern California
&
Central Coast Beach Hotels & Resorts

San Clemente Beach Hotel

Old town San Clemente remains much the same as it was when we lived there in the 60's.
It's the perfect place for a family beach vacation. In fact we've been staying
at the Sea Horse for week long vacations for over 10 years. There are several cafes
on the same street and the pier is just across the street. We love having bonfires on the beach.

Laguna Beach Hotel Better than the French Riviera

Laguna Beach is Southern California's premier seaside destination nestled between
the sparkling blue Pacific and majestic canyons. A year-round retreat for art lovers, nature enthusiasts,
and beachgoers, Laguna Beach offers seven miles of soft sand, sound of the surf and miles of hidden coves.
Laguna has a long history as the premier seaside retreat in Orange County.Spectacular views,
chic restaurants, unique shops and one-of-a-kind art galleries await you. We love the Laguna Beach
Sawdust Festival, walking from one beach cove to the next, and browsing in its art galleries.

Santa Cruz
A Beach Resort
for
Creating Memories

Santa Cruz is on the sunny side of Monterey Bay. It's beaches are beautiful and there
is world famous surfing. We love walking out on the pier and dining at one of the
restaurants. When we've had enough sun on the beach we head up to the redwood
forests and hike along streams shaded by the towering ancient trees.

Hwy 1 - Beach Hotel in the Mystical Village of Cambria

If you haven't driven Hwy 1 from Morro Bay to Monterey you probably haven't heard of Cambria.
We came across it on our first drive up the coast years and years ago. It is beyond charming.
It has a mystical feel to it. I can't describe exactly why. You just have to go there and see for yourself.
Though the village is not right on the ocean, just up the road apiece you'll find a number of accomodations
that look right out on the wild Pacific Ocean. Otters and seals frolic here in and around the rocks.
